Dr. De La Cruz is an alumnus of UNESCO APCEIU on Global Citizenship Education and Senior Mentor of Global Schools Program by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network with mentees from Asia-Pacific Region such as Taiwan, Hongkong, Philippines, India, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
A passionate, highly proficient, committed, and organized to teaching, mentoring teachers and students with 23 years of classroom experience (15 years in the Higher Education Institutions, 8 years in the Department of Education for the Senior High students). Also, 15 years as reporter, journalist, desk editor and editor, and columnist; and 4 years as Local Legislative Staff of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City, 15 years as Clinical Instructor and lecturer.
A multi-awardee and distinguished educator internationally, nationally, and locally, he is a staunch advocate for cultural education, education for sustainable development, humane education and human rights, and global citizenship education.
