Dr Lephoto is an experienced lecturer in Psychology of Education, with ceaseless passionfor teaching and interacting with children and young people both at classroom and personal level. Over 10 years’ experience of teaching has proven herpassion and success in creating peaceful and supportive learning environmentsthat prioritise social and emotional learning, resilience building, inclusion,and prosocial behaviours.

Dr Lephoto is an advocate and ambassador forEducation for Peacebuilding and Non-Violence for Sustainable Development.Recently, She founded a vibrant youth-led organisation of “Young Educators forPeace/non-violence and Empowerment” in the Faculty of Education (NUL). Herresearch publications cover the above mentioned areas.
