Erica Kawabata is an artist and environmental advocate whose work explores how art shapes personal and collective identity in a time of ecological change. She is the co-founder of Lotus Earth Creative, an initiative that brings together artists, communities, and environmental groups to foster creative dialogue, ecological awareness, and transformative learning. Erica holds a degree from Soka University in Japan and an MA in Ecology, Culture, and Society from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Her interdisciplinary practice centers on storytelling, sensory perception, and creative expression as pathways for social and ecological transformation.She facilitates workshops and collaborates with grassroots organizations to reconnect people with place, memory, and responsibility to the Earth. Through her art and educational work, Erica invites communities to reimagine creative identity as an evolving relationship with the world around us.
