Farzana has been an educationist for the past 20 years. She began her career as a primary teacher for English and Social Studies. Later, she had the opportunity to work with Early Years at Beaconhouse School Clifton Campus, where she completed an Early Childhood Development Certification from Aga Khan Council-AKU IED. In 2014, her organization moved her to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as a CAS Coordinator, a position that introduced her to the concept of global citizenship and allowed her to explore her potential in roles such as Manager Co-curricular for the Southern Region and IB Diploma Programme Coordinator.

In early 2019, Farzana was offered a role in the School Improvement and Quality Assurance department, which provided her with further insight into quality assurance in teaching and learning practices. This journey continued until 2021 when she ventured to Gilgit to establish Rupani Academy, the first and only IB school in Gilgit Baltistan. It has been a remarkable journey where she applied her strategies within the school to develop a curriculum aimed at fostering a peaceful world.

Recently, Farzana was associated with Alpha Education Network as the programme head, tasked with designing a holistic curriculum for their preschool, Alpha Prime. Throughout her career, she has continued her professional studies through institutions like the International Baccalaureate, Harvard, and Cambridge, and has recently completed her PGCE from iQualify UK.
