Kavita is a facilitator of mission-driven work with communities around the world. Now pursuing her fourth career as a Global Vitality Coach, she brings the life experiences of business and classroom teaching to the work of transforming learning within communities. Through her work as a passionate advocate and mentor for social-emotional-ethical wellbeing integration in the lives of all people, Kavita’s vision is to co-create a harmonious world in which all living systems can flourish.
Kavita's mission is to connect with like-minded individuals who wish to empower all people through meaningful, interconnected, and globally-minded conversations. In one-to-one meetings, team gatherings and large group workshops, Kavita coaches school leaders, classroom educators and community members to recognise the roles they play in shaping the identities, attitudes and behaviours of all learners. Through the facilitation of co-designed learning experiences, she offers practical ideas for global and intercultural thinking for all learners, including parents, students and leaders across all industries. Kavita is a creative designer of integrated curriculum units, weaving impactful learning experiences, wellbeing, standards (state, IB, Honors, AP) and UN Sustainable Development Goals into unified experiences that reconnect all to the joy of learning and teaching. She frequently co-facilitates Project-Based Learning workshops and coaching sessions linking schools to educators, learners and experts around the world taking action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This focus has led to hands-on learning to improve the conditions for learning within schools and their surrounding communities.
Kavita’s current work is focused on the neuroscience of creativity, learning and leadership. Through her extensive research for her Master’s of Social Sciences: Transformative Learning Communities, she has developed a portfolio of evidence that specific interventions create the conditions for unleashing the creative potential that resides within all of us. This work has been inspired by the work of leaders within the software industry who have studied the impact of Agile practices on mindset.
