Kofi has over 17 years of experience in the Education Sector of Ghana, working with schools, communities, international organizations and government agencies. He has expertise in Designing, Managing and Reviewing Projects, Undertaking Policy Research, and Advocacy Engagement at the Community, National and International levels in Ghana and Africa. He has Chaired the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition, Represented Civil Society on the Ministerial Advisory Board of the Ministry of Education and Education Sector Working and Technical Committees, Played key roles in the development of the previous Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2010-2020 and the current one, ESP 2018-2030, served as rapporteur for the Ministry of Education for 6 years, developed manuals for the Ghana Education Service, consulted extensively for local and international organizations in the education sector including USAID, ILO, Teacher Unions, WUSC, CAMFED, WORLD BANK, VSO, AfDB, and DANIDA, GIZ, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, National Service Scheme among others. In 2016, he was awarded the Prestigious 2016 Millennium Excellence Award for Rural and Urban Development by the Millennium Excellence Foundation under the distinguished patronage of His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the King of the Ashanti.
