Libby Giles is the Director of the New Zealand Centre for Global Studies, and a co-founder of Global Citizenship New Zealand.   She is a specialist in the development of global citizenship education at the global level as well as implementation on the ground.  As a teacher/facilitator and senior leader, Libby has developed whole school models that included strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and professional learning development.  

Her current roles provide a broader platform for teacher and senior leadership training and professional development.  Her approach is centred in philosophical inquiry and responsibility.  Libby is committed to meeting local, regional, and international educational requirements and goals for transforming education for a better world, and to supporting others to do the same.
