Monaliza Maximo Chian,Ph.D., is an assistant professor of instruction and a program coordinator foronline teacher education at the University of Northern Iowa. Dr. Chian has over twenty years in California before her postdoctoral work at the University ofHong Kong. Dr Chian’s research agenda includes curriculum program design andevaluation, literacy, and teacher education and research methodologies.
