Rosanna Chatterton-Sparks is the founder of Sustain Ed Limited, an organisation providing educational services globally with the mission of making education meaningful, relevant and accessible for all learners, in all settings. As a teacher and school leader with a decade and a half of experience in the education sector, Rose has experienced first hand how providing relevant, meaningful and exciting learning opportunities to students can have a transformative impact. Positive outcomes on engagement, motivation, attendance as well as the development of the all important 21st century skills that young people will need to thrive in the future can be achieved.
Rose is passionate about following the ESD framework and incorporating the SDGs into project based learning opportunities. Students are taught to take a hands-on approach to understanding current issues faced locally and globally and importantly be provided with the chance to use problem solving, critical thinking and collaborative skills to help find solutions.
As a Global Schools advocate, she believes in the incredible value of Global Citizenship in education and was awarded the first ever Outstanding Intrapreneur in Education award for her work on implementing skills based learning.
