Scott Bower is an experienced international and humanistic teacher/educator who is the host and creator of the ‘Be A Global Citizen!’ podcast. He is originally from Torrance, California. He graduated from Soka University of America (SUA) in May 2015 with a major in international relations, received a Masters in Education from DePaul University in 2019, and then a second masters in Education Leadership from Harvard University in 2025.  

Starting in 2016, he worked at the Brazil Soka High School in Sao Paulo for six years as an English and Global Politics teacher. In 2021, he returned to California where he worked at SUA as an Admission Counselor while doing part-time work as a Global Politics teacher for Dwight Global Online School for three years. More recently, he worked for one year as the Director of Admissions at Fusion Academy in Palos Verdes, California.
