Seema Shaikh started as a teacher at a humble school. and today has established a significant role in the field of education. Excellence in education has always being her motto, for which she has traveled across the globe to countries like the UK, Finland, and Australia to study their education system and implement their methods here in order to better ours.
The capacity to learn is a gift , the ability to learn is a skill , the willingness to learn is a choice, and Seema Shaikh made that choice almost four decades ago. She started as a teacher with a humble school. and today has established a significant role in the field of education. Excellence in education has always being her motto, for which she has travelled across the globe to countries like UK, Finland, Australia to study their education system and implement their methods here in order to better ours. She strongly feels that It is the Education institution that decides the fabric of the locale and hence constantly strives to upgrade by carrying out researches on topics like leadership, Global Citizenship and Global Competency.
With an intent to bring about effective changes at the rural education level she plays a vital role in curriculumdesigning in the Rural belt of Maharashtra along with the Mharashtra Education Board, Along with being the main convener for MCGM P/S ward, Mrs Shaikh is the British Council ambassador since 2008 and also the AFS hosting coordinator.
Apart from being the principal of Pragnya Bodhini High School Mumbai for the past 30 years, She heads the early Education Program run by the Samrat Academy in association with Sanskar Vikas Society. A NABET assessor , IATD trained trainer and trainer for Educators and Young Adults, Mrs Shaikh is currently pursuing her Phd M phil in Education. Even though she will be a Doctor post her Phd, she will always prefer to be called a TEACHER.
