Join us for the 31st Educational Leadership Forum as we explore how schools can enable students to become active, responsible, and engaged citizens. The Educational Leadership Forum brings together educators, education leaders, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world.

During this thought-provoking forum, participants will engage in a panel discussion, a Distinguished Global Lecture, a Fireside Chat, and a workshop led by leading practitioners and scholars in education. The 31st Educational Leadership Forum, organized by the Global Citizenship Foundation, aims to foster Global North-South cooperation towards reimagining education systems that recognize students not merely as learners, but as citizens with agency, rights, responsibilities, and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world.

The Forum will focus on:

  • Engaging educational leaders, educators, and decision-makers through distinguished global lecture, workshops, and discussions to explore how schools can nurture students' civic agency, participation, and sense of shared responsibility.
  • Addressing the challenges and opportunities of recognizing students as citizens within educational systems, including questions of student voice, agency, belonging, and meaningful participation in decision-making.
  • Identifying evidence-based approaches and resources to help educators foster critical thinking, dialogue, systems thinking, and global citizenship competencies that enable students to engage thoughtfully with local and global challenges.
  • Proposing actionable recommendations for education leaders and educators to create inclusive, participatory, and student-centred learning environments where students can exercise their agency, contribute to their communities, and shape a more just, equitable, and sustainable future.

Don't miss this opportunity to be at the forefront of reimagining education for citizenship. Secure your spot at the 31st Educational Leadership Forum and gain valuable insights and certifications to further your professional development.
