A first-generation learner who came to education from policy analysis and journalism. Months after the Sustainable Development Goals were adopted, he founded the Global Citizenship Foundation in 2016 to pioneer GCED within formal education. Nearly a decade of working with schools across countries confirmed what he saw from the start: genuine commitment, but no structure to make it last. That work has since extended into shaping GCED policy through regional and international processes, expert working groups, and advisory roles, including advisory work with UNESCO MGIEP and contributions to the EU Declaration on Global Education 2050. He has been recognized as a UNESCO Global Citizenship Education Youth Leader.
