Dr. Adrian Camm

Dr. Adrian Camm is the Principal of Westbourne Grammar and Managing Director of the school Board. Adrian has worked with schools and organisations around the world and has had the chance to present his innovation for the future of learning to leading innovators and thinkers in business and industry including Dr. Edward de Bono, Daniel Dennett and one of USA's top ten entrepreneurs and inventors Raymond Kurzweil.

As a strategist and transformation expert, he holds a Master of Education (Leadership), a PhD from Deakin University, and is an alumni of the Saïd Business School at Oxford University. Adrian is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has sat as a Director on not-for-profit Boards.

He believes in harnessing the power of the collective to achieve extraordinary outcomes, and under his guidance, Westbourne is navigating the most exciting era of growth in its almost 160 year history.

Adrian has a long history of success and has been recognised with many awards and acknowledgements from organisations like Google and the Australian Institute of Physics. He was also awarded the 2009 Australian Award for Teaching Excellence,  Best National Achievement - The Minister's Award for Excellence in ICT, the 2010 Victorian Education Excellence Awards - Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the Year, the 2012 Information & Communication Technology Education Victoria, Australian Council for Computers in Education & Australian Computer Society - Outstanding Australian Leader of the Year, the 2024 Australian Council of Educational Leaders - Fellowship for Outstanding Leadership, and the 2024 & 2025 Australian Education Awards Excellence Awardee in the Category of Australian School Principal of the Year.

He regularly features on The Educators Hotlist and has been named as one of Australia's most influential educators.
