Kristen Wendt (she/her) is a student at American University’s MA program in Special Education: Learning Disabilities. She currently teaches grade 3 at Concord Hill School in Chevy Chase, MD, and is passionate about finding ways to blend art and education, particularly with the purpose of uplifting and engaging students with exceptionalities. Kristen works as an usher at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, nourishing her love of theatre, dance, and music as well as her passion for improving someone’s day with a simple act of kindness.
