Mahita Sadula is a third-year pre-medical undergraduate student double majoring in Biology and Sociology at UNC Charlotte. She is a member of the University Honors Program and Sociology Honors Program. She is the Vice President of her university’s Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association (Pre-SOMA) chapter, where she promotes osteopathic medicine on her college campus, while also educating and supporting aspiring osteopathic physicians. She has presented her research on Sustainable Development Goal #13: Climate action at several different research conferences, including the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). As a pre-medical student and student researcher, she aspires to continue researching the impacts of climate change on the environment while advocating for equitable, healthy, and sustainable communities.
