Sonya Temko is the International Projects Coordinator at the EASEL Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on contextualizing and adapting social and emotional learning for cultural relevance in diverse contexts. Sonya has a background in teaching various subjects and age groups, including in France as a Fulbright grantee, as well as supporting social and emotional learning programming and research in education in emergency settings. Sonya holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies and English Literature from Mills College.
